Where were you before starting coaching?
I train with Johnathan from Train MBS and have done for a couple of years now. During this time I've learned more about fitness, nutrition, and creating a balance in my life, than I could ever have done by simply attending a gym.
When life is going well, PT is a great addition to my lifestyle but when I hit a bump in the road (as inevitably happens) coming to Train means so much more; it has a wonderful feeling of family and the support and encouragement I receive means that those bumps don't develop into great big mountains.
Why did you choose to work with your trainer?
Johnathan always takes the time to listen and will tailor my sessions to best suit my needs; both physical and mental.
I've developed a love of lifting weights and enjoy seeing more and more weight being added to the barbell as the months pass. I would never have had the courage to go into this part of a gym as I've always felt so intimidated, not to mention clueless, but Johnathan has given me knowledge about different types of weights and exercises so I don't feel like I need to be nervous any more.
What have you achieved so far working with your trainer?
Attending Train regularly is important to me as it has a noticeable impact on my mental health, as well as my physical. Johnathan has further supported this by introducing me to mindfulness meditation and various breathing exercises. These have been a revelation to me and I enjoy them so much that I'm taking a meditation course and hope to become a teacher/practitioner over time.
Why should someone work with Train MBS? What makes Train different from your perspective?
Coming to Train and working with Johnathan has been completely life enhancing and during difficult periods in my life, a bit of a life saver. Train is a source of positivity and inspiration for me.
If someone is on the fence / nervous / or has fears about starting PT - Why should they take the leap?
I still have a long way to go before I achieve all my goals but I know I'll get there at Train. My determination is matched by Johnathan's enthusiasm and passion for his work and clients. Success may not be instant, but I feel like it might just be inevitable!
